Join me on my adventures!
I started dreaming of being a musician when I was maybe 8 years old. I started playing clarinet, then bass clarinet, then saxophone. Then when I turned 18, I taught myself to play guitar and bass guitar. And then somewhere along the way, traveling also became an obsession. And of course somewhere along the way we find out we can't make the living we want earning $40 a night playing in bar bands. I had always been interested in electronic music and had built a synthesizer and a distortion pedal for my guitar. I had also been helping my stepfather wire houses since I was 12 or 13 years old. So I dove head first into residential electricity and industrial electricity and electronics. And I always strived to be the best. My legacy will be in getting industrial equipment back up and running and reinventing the manufacturing process through automation.
But somewhere down the road my dream is to be remembered for the daughters I raised and always trying to make someone elses life a little happier.
I fought and fought with my 9th grade Algebra teacher about infinity. My theory states that infinity cannot exist because anything that has a starting point must also have an end point.
I cannot shut my mind off and will most nights go to sleep thinking about something and have an answer in the morning.
I love good classical music, especially Tschaikovsky
I played in a band in 1975 in Montreal, Canada at the Man and his World exposition as part of the opening ceremonies for the 1976 Olympics. Opening act for Frank Zappa.
The week after I graduated high school I rode a bicycle from Allegany, NY to North Carolina including sleeping one night at the base of the Washington Monument.
We're back to travel! I don't have a top 10 list, but places that stir my imagination and soul.... Yosemite, Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Parks, Yellowstone, Denali, Grand Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, Badlands, Palo Duro State Park, Dead Horse Point State Park
I am over 2700 photos on here now and still uploading to finish the Fall of 2023 page. Hoping to have everything posted by the middle of February and should be leaving on my next adventure the first week of March. Will be heading to Joshua Tree NP in Southern California and working my way east along the I-10 corridor. Hope you are enjoying all the updates. I have also added Crater Lake and Mt. Rainier National Parks to this Main Page as well as another 75 pictures from Arches National Park.
